Web CMS (TeamSite)
Preview error & cant see zz_**.html file
System
Recently installed TeamSite with details...
TeamSite installed on Solaris Server: TS5.5.2, SP3, Templating SP3, Solaris-8,
Apache
Apache configured for TeamSite.
When clicked on preview button in DCR.
- popup error:
the document contained no data try again later, or contact the servers administrator
- iwproxy shows:
x-teamsite-preremap: /iw-mount/default/main/SDWF_test/WORKAREA/SDWF_test_wa/zz_tst_ashishp_0_preview.html
[invalid server response]
Though zz_***.html File gets created at templatedata level. But again,
Cant see generated zz_***.html file from the TeamSite.
I guess no special configuration required in TeamSite for preview.
Any clues?

Couple of points. The TeamSite GUI filters out the zz_ files, so you will not see them in the GUI.
First, can you load it into a browser ?
If it is a simple template (without lots of proxy) you should see parts of the page with this URL:
http://tsserver:81/-mount/default/main/SDWF_test/WORKAREA/SDWF_test_wa/zz_tst_ashishp_0_preview.html
Have you tried to use the pt compiler ? Are you certain you are generating good HTML ? Pinpoint that there is valid HTML and the proxy is not showing it.

Yes I can see .. the html is very much valid & can see as expected into browser if loaded directly.
The templates used are example template DCT & TPL. I expect them by default correct...
Tthe url (
http://ts-server:81/
...) keeps on rendering page.. didnt comes out with result.. had to stop the browser.
can it be a apache web-server configuration problem ?.. as i did it after TeamSite installtion..

Able top generate html files but can not view them .. coming up with the same error after a click on it.
Is anything related to alias setting in apache?
am i supposed to configure anything in, iw-home/iw-webd/conf ?
or is a SP3 issue ?
any clues whats happening?

Is TS virtualizing properly at all ? If you drop static content into TS will it work ? It certainly seems like an apache config issue

Reinstalled again everything.. right now evrything is fine . & apache configuration seems very much ok as this time configured during instllation itself.
Still coming up with same error.. as above
during installtion gave me following error
STEP 0: Copying platform specific files.
WARNING: Standard OS file /etc/rc2.d/S71rpc not found!
WARNING: Standard OS file /etc/rc2.d/S73nfs.client not found!
WARNING: Standard OS file /etc/rc3.d/S15nfs.server not found!
Files r not in the system for sure.. probably i ingnored 1st time..
can it be related to page preview or virtualization?

That sure seems like you do not have the NFS drivers loaded. But if NFS is not loaded, then TS would not work (I think) I suspect you should open a suppport case. This does not seem to be normal pilot error.

!able to resolve the error.. can preview files now.
Was an Apache configuratgion problem.
Still as u said .. following up with Tech Support for,
TeamSite running w/o NFS driver files
