No Merge

Good day all.
We have Teamsite 5.5.2
For some reason the merge option is not appearing when selecting compare or compare any.
vdiff, and sdiff do show.

Any ideas?
Our main goal for today is to compare to versions of a file(s) in different WAs and complete a merge.

OK, just found the KB entry for when the merge tool shows up.

So what's the best practice to get the Merge to compare any?

There are [at least] two open Feature Requests for functionality like this:

18616	Want to be able to merge any two versions [CompareAny]
37152	Need to be able to compare/merge/diff between any two files in the same workarea.

You should probably contact Interwoven Support to register your interest in either (or both) of these requests. I don't believe either has been specifically addressed in TeamSite 6, though I could be wrong (I haven't had a chance to really try it out yet)
