iServer downtime - Scheduled reports?
philb
Hi, can anyone help me with this query?
We need to take our iServer down for a length of time (approx 12 hours).
During this time a number of report jobs are scheduled to execute (and obviously won't).
Someone here has stated that when the iServer is restarted it will work out which jobs should have been executed during the downtime and will execute them automatically.
I am a little sceptical of this statement and have been unable to find anything to support it, either in the documentation, on these forums or generally on the web.
Thanks in anticipation.
Ooh, almost forgot to mention, we're running version 10 of iServer.

Hi philb,
If a scheduled job was supposed to run during server downtime, it will run right after the server is started. Note that each job will run only once even if several scheduled runs were missed during downtime.
