Export to Excel and PDF

Hi,

When we export the data into xls or pdf,its like a image(BIRT content)exported to xls or pdf.But the user wants these features in the exported data of xls or PDF.

Exporting only the table content and not the chart.
Repeating the headers in each page of word ,xls and pdf.
Bringing the content in a proper form so that the user can manipulate data in the exported xls
Is there a way to bring the page numbers into the export data.

We are using Birt 3.2

It would be great if i get some pointers.

You can set the Chart Visibility to hide in XLS and PDF.

The Group Headers should repeat in PDF pages, you may have set it not to.

Actuate 11 (BIRT 2.6) has the ability to export basic formulae and live charts to XLS.
You may also wish to look at Actuate (BIRT) e.SpreadSheet product to generate in native XLS/XLSX format (with the ability to save your Workbook as PDF).

Export Data is independant of pages, so no. Try Export Content.
