Nested value-of tag

I want to do something like this:

<VALUE-OF>reportContext.getMessage("date",[<VALUE-OF format="DD/MM/yy">new Date()</VALUE-OF>]);</VALUE-OF>

i.e. Put a formatted date in a i18n text.

Any clues?

If you're using the <value-of> dynamic text tag, I would assume you could just create a date and format it in script and then just use this date in your script rather than having to use another tag.
