Not able to overwrite a read only file

I am trying to deploy a file using Open Deploy 4.5 on Windows 2000 machine. But deployment fails if there is a file with the same name on the destination server with read only permission. I am using the following in the deployment configuration file but it doesn't work. The user I am using is in the Admin group on the destination machine.

<target useReplicationFarm="a" >
<permissionRules changeAccess="{ Domain\User:ALL }" />
<targetFilesystem area="path" />
</target>


Is there a way to overwrite files with read only permissions? Thanks!

You indicated you were using OpenDeploy 4.5, but the syntax of the configuration file you provided was from a 5.x version of OpenDeploy - and that certainly won't work.

1. Recheck carefully what version of OpenDeploy you are using (both for sending and receiving - in case they are not the same)
2. Recheck the OpenDeploy manual carefully looking at the various options available for that version of OpenDeploy you are using.
