Process for converting Actuate Reports to BIRT??

Hello,

We want to convert our Actuate reports to BIRT. I know there is no conversion tool, but what manual process did you use? Any insight or tricks that you can share would be appreciated.

We are using Maximo 6.2.2 and are migrating to 6.2.7, which uses BIRT. We do not want to use actuate reports any longer even though we might be able to with 6.2.7.
