start a cgi directly from email

currently my email has a link to webdesk along with the task id, then the user must click the start action. I would like to change this to start automatically from the link. Any ideas?

This is somewhat tricky. You could try putting a link directly to your CGI (with the taskID variable set). However, this will bypass the TeamSite login screen. (Thus you wont have specific user authentication and wont be able to run it through the iw_cgi_wrapper) It also leaves your CGI task accessible in two places.

If the authentication step is needed, your best bet is to keep doing what you are doing - albeit with the extra user annoyance.
