There is an example of cascading parameter from a scripted data source in the DevShare at

Hi Vdodson,
Thank you very much ...
But this is not what i am looking for...
This " .rtpdesign" is using JDBC dataset not the scripted DataSource..

I just took a look myself and it seems like that example uses a scripted dataset called 1stlevelcascade AND a JDBC dataset called 2ndlevelcascade. Then a Cascading Parameter Group that is set up to pull from multiple data sets. The idea here is that you can extend the scripted data source example to do whatever you want. There are other Scripted Data Source examples in the DevShare if you want to call out to a Java Class.

I meant to add...
To see the code for the Scripted Data Set,
- Select the Scripted Data Set, from the list in the Data Explorer (1stlevelcascade in the linked example)
- Select the Script tab (In the center of the screen by Layout and Preview tabs)
- Select a method (top drowdown)... open method typically has code to initialize a class... fetch method typically has code to return each row of data.
