using aggregate values in tooltips

Hello. Is there a way to get the current data label for use in a tooltip? I have bars of values aggregated by day or week or month (it's an option) and I'm using the chart's Group and sorting to do the aggregation for me so the value representing the bar isn't in the data series. The tooltip, by default, is the data label for the bar, but I'd like to be able to append a label onto the tooltip, like " days", so that the tooltip is "<n> days".

Can I do that?

But could be much more simple. Like if it was settable via beforeDrawDataPointLabel().
