Hi all
I have a problem in cross tab .. when i try to give page break i couldn't to it..
i tried like this
cross tab properties window -> row area -> page break i added a page break size a 40 .. but it doesn't work..
can u help me fixing it..? thank u in advance..

What is your BIRT version? What dimension are you setting the interval on? The innermost row dimension? How many rows fit on a page in your report? More than 40? Let me know.

Attaching your report or creating a sample with the sample database that I can run might help too.

Actually, the report i attached, will return more than 10 thousands rows. and now i could display only 11 rows per page..

Setting the page break interval doesn't mean that you'll get 40 per page, that just means that if you have the space to get to 41, it won't, it will page break before the 41st row. If you're only getting 11 lines per page and you want to get 40, you're either going to have to scale down the fonts and sizes of your text or you'll need to increase the master page size by almost 4 times in length.

Can u just tell me.. this is rite..

I went to master page tab near lay out and then properties window - > advanced->section-> i changed all the options in that page break after, page break befor .

Whether is this the right way..

If you're wanting ot fit 40 rows per page and you're fitting 11 now, you'll need to go to the master page tab under the design window, go to the general tab under the property editor, change the type to "custom", then change the height on the same tab to whatever height fits 40 rows for you.

I have a doubt in cross tab,
In which i have adjust the width of the rows (like when we create a new cross tab that we will get this Drop Date Fields(s) to define rows here. ). I need to adjust the width of this part.
