BIRT Reports Execution Time

hi ,

We have set of 100 reports , would like to see time taken by each birt report in header. Is there any way we can use the librabry in BIRT for this purpose and create reusable component and make use of it in all the reports.

Not really. You can benchmark your BIRT reports by using a call to java.lang.System.out.println(), and output to the console, or write to a text file or the log. What you would do is add in a call in beforeFactory, and beforeRender, to initialize a timer, and a call in afterFactory and afterRender to set the time after each cycle. You want to do this in both because run time and render time are two different metrics. Then, in the afterFactory or afterRender event, do your output.

But you won't have that accessible in the output of your report.
