how to show table's value in horizontal fashion

In birt report design I am using a table to show data by using its detail row. normally data shown is in vertical fashion
like
column1
value1
value2
value3
.
.
.
like this
but I want to show data like as
column1
value1 value2 value3 value4 value5
value6 value7 value8 . .
. . . . .
etc.
any help ???

Use a List with Inline enabled, instead of a Table.

Hi, what you have to do is, put a list in the layout, and then put in the detail list the column that you want to show in this way. Then select that row, and in the general properties go to the option Display, and then select inline..<br />

Hi Kidtorres,
Thanks for the kind support, i have tried the report as you said it working fine, but i have some change in that,
i.e i want to display the report in the attached sample.png image.
Assume that in the report i have used classic model db and in the Data set i have used employee table.
this table has 27 records,
In that the first 5 records should be display as
column1 column2 column3 column4 column5
record1 record2 record3 record4 record5
record6 record7 record8 record9 record10
.....
record26 record27
etc.
Please help..
