Show Table only when Data is available (Joined DataSet)

Hi,<br />
I'm having two DataSets (call it DS1 and DS2) and a Table which uses the Joined DataSet of this two. And now I only want to show this table, if there is Data in DS2 (there will always be Data in DS1).<br />

But I can't get it work for the Table with the joined DataSet. The Joined DataSet doesn't know the computed column of DS2.<br />

Does somebody know how to to it for a table using a joined DataSet?

If DS2 is the one that controls whether there is data in the joint dataSet, you can initialize a variable in your initialize script of your report:

temp = 0;

Then, in your onFetch of your DS2, you can put:

temp++;

Then, in your visibility script of your table, check the "temp" variable. If it's 0 still, hide your table, if it's not, don't.

DS1 and DS2 should be called when you run a table with your joint dataSet, but if you have issues with this not working correctly, put a text box in front of the table that uses the joint dataSet and bind it to DS2 and hide it to make sure DS2 runs.
