Percent Stacked Area chart gridlines issue
sidh_14
Hi All
We are trying to add vertical gridlines to our 'Percent Stacked Area chart' report. The problem we are facing in that is, the gridlines are not showing up throughout the chart plot, insted they are showing up at both the ends of the chart plot area.
I am attaching the image showing what is required and the actual report.
In the image shown #A5 is what required(on the left) and the actual o/p on the right.

If you open the chart editor and go to the individual x-axis and y-axis sections in the format chart tab, you'll see a "gridlines" button. If you click on that, you can choose to show the major grid lines and choose a color and thickness.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply.
We already have added the X-axis major gridlines to the chart, but the gridlines are coming at the border of the plot, i.e. for the values 180 and 0 only but not for the remaining values. Hope there is some other way around to resolve it.

Also if the gridlines might be present but the plot area is covering them then, is there any way to bring those gridlines in front or make the plot area a bit translucent so that the lines are visible.

If you go to the top section in the format tab of the chart editor, there are check boxes for each series that allows the series to be translucent. You could probably also create a custom series color palette that would have translucent colors on it.

Thanks a lot.
I'll make the plot translucent.
