APPENDING THE VALUES IN REPORTS

HI,

Kindly help me in this issue.

Please see this below output

NAME- NUMBER- ****- COMMENTS
Albert- -111- -- - - - M- - - - - - GOOD
Albert- -111- ---- --- M- - - - - - LUCK
Albert- -111- -- - - - M- - - - - - WELCOME

In the above output all the three records is for same person ALBERT. Apart from COMMENTS column , all other columns show the the same values.Only COMMENTS column shows the different values like GOOD,LUCK and WELCOME.

My requirement is to append all the values that are populated under the COMMENTS column since it is for same person.

The final output that i am expecting is as follows

NAME NUMBER **** COMMENTS
Albert 111 M GOOD LUCK WELCOME

Is there any option tio perform this function in report level.Please provide me the solution.

Add a group to your table and let it group by Number (this column is the primary key...isn't it?)
Remove the detail row.
In group header or footer row add a aggregation element. There should be aggregate function concat available which you can use to concat all comments for this person. All other columns are coming from real dataset columns so you can easily drag them in.

Could u please tell me the syntax for using concat() function.I tried using it . It shows like the function is not declared. Please give me the brief explanation on this. 
 
And also i see another function join() . Can this function also solve my purpose .Even i tried this It shows the same error as not declared.How to use these two functions..Am badly in need of this help..
