Top N Filter with 'Other' in a table
vash
Hi,
I have a table with lots of data - and I am filtering it to just show the Top N at a time.
Is there a way that the values of the remaining rows can be summed up and showed as the 'Other' row on the table?
Thanks,
Vash

Hi Vash,
So, the rows in your table are unique to the rows in the dataSet? No grouping? Just the top N rows from the dataSet? If this is the case, you could create a computed column that counts from "Group 1" to "Group N" in your ordered dataSet to specify the top N rows, then for the remaining rows, you assign the value "Other". Then, you could group your table on this string field and would be able to use an aggregation to sum up the "other" group.
Hope this helps.
