Chart and image alignment
krez
I'm new to BIRT but I have searched the internet and these forums about it and still cannot figure it out.
Is there a way to position images and charts? As far as I can tell, they are always left and top justified.
I need to center a chart horizontally, and also position an image (logo) in the bottom right corner of each page (when exported to PDF).
I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks in advance!

Hi,
The best way to position elements such as charts or images (or anything else for that matter) is to place them in a grid. When you have a grid, you can control the vertical and horizontal alignment of each cell. Think of grids as the equivalent of an HTML table.
Attached is an example of a report that contains a chart centered in a one by one grid, as well as a logo added to the bottom right corner of the page.
Hope this helps,
P.
