Downloaded Birt Eclipse

Just got started with Birt and I'm very excited about it. I spent a few days creating a report off a mysql database. Now, I'm ready to export it and load it into my Tomcat server to show off and I can't.

When I attempt to export as a jar, Birt doesn't see my project, it sees other projects, just not mine. Is there a build configuration I need to setup or something I'm missing in the config?

Did you download the BIRT runtime? There is a directory in the runtime that has the WebViewer example that can be deployed to tomcat. You can also install the WTP integration package to deploy the BIRT engine from within Eclipse.

I downloaded the BIRT runtime. Am I supposed to copy my .rpt's into that webapp on tomcat or import the birt.war into Eclipse and develop and redeploy? I tried that and BIRT eclipse still doesn't allow me to export a .war or a .jar.
