How to access JS API

I am using Eclipse Helios with BIRT. I have created 3 few reports and was trying to figure out how to display those on my webpage. I saw the tutorial "http://www.birt-exchange.com/be/demos/resources/?articleid=17402" but I cannot figure out how to get access to the JS API?

I am going to have only 6 graphs on my webpage and 2 of them will have parameters (based on which they should refresh). I am wondering if I would have to buy some kind of BIRT license for that?

The JS API is an Actuate API that comes with the commercial product.

May I know which version of which product? How do I find out the costing? The website does not give any costing information.
