Deploying Birt Viewer on the internet using tomcat

I'm using the Birt viewer with tomcat. 
 
Everything works fine using http://localhost:8080/viewer/etc/etc 
 
But when I try to access from another computer changing 'localhost' with the IP address of the computer with the tomcat server, I get no result.(http://ip-address:8080/viewer/etc/etc 
 
 
How can I access to my reports and viewer from another computer through the internet? 
 
is there any additional configuration to Birt or tomcat needed?

Hi YvanHurtad,
Most probably your firewall setting are blocking remote access to that machine. As a simple test you can just go to http://<machineip>:8080 and see if you can see the tomcat welcome page.

If u see my Post then reply me as soon as possible.I have a error when i want to deploy my design report in Tomcat. Error is java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError cannot be cast to java.lang.Exception
plz suggest me where z my wrong? and how i could resolve thish?I'm using Birt 2.6 with eclipse

Hi BUBU,
You can try allocating more space to your java engine in Tomcat. You can do so under java tab in Tomcat Properties window. To give more PermGen space you can add the following string to options:
"-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"
