QBR field getting cut off

In maximo, when trying to run a query based report i am running into a problem.

One of the fields is getting cut off, not matter how many other fields or where i put in on the report.

The field has 14 characters, but the QBR only shows 5. Where is there a way to expand this to show the entire string? Thanks in advance.

Although QBR uses the BIRT design API to generate report, only Maximo has control over how the design is created. Hence this is a question for IBM.
