Metadata Search on Plumtree Portal

Hi,

I am planning to Integrate TeamSite and Plumtree portal Server using the TeamPortal (CS SDK).

I am planing to configure Metadata Capture for the Pages I generate and then use DAS to deply these Metadata to an Oracle Database. I am not sure how will my Portal use this information in the database to search the keywords I specify?
In simple words how will Portal do a Metadata Search.

Kindly assume I am fairly new to the Plumtree Portal environment.
