Accessing Active Directory

Hi all,

I am not sure if I am in the right place to post this topic but...

I am trying to use the Active Directory to authenticate my users on actuate iServer instead of letting the Encyclopedia handle it... I read the docs in the pdf about Integration Technology but it seems so complicated... is there an app for that or a plugin for the server? Or can you point me to a sample or anything? I am currently evaluating iServer for use in my enterprise so any help would be greatly appreciated

Implementing custom security entails developing your own web service application that implements RSSE framework. Chapter 10 of iServer Integration Technology manual provides in-depth details on how this can be implemented.
