Removing space between masterpage and layout

Hi,

Is there any way to remove the space between the masterpage header and the table in the layout?
I can see some space between the masterpage content and the content in the layout. Does BIRT automatically inserts some space(of one line) between them? According to my given requirements, the table I have inserted in the layout should immediately follow the Master page header. Kindly, help me out. If you think it is a bug, please let me know. Thank you.

All you need to tell me is whether you can see a space between master page header and the layout content(table) and is there any way you can delete that space.

Can you attach a report design that shows this issue? I put a grid in the MP header, sized it to be the same height as the header, set the background color of that and of the table in the design. When I ran it in PDF, they were joined as one block of color. No line separating them.
