Using Barcode in Web Application
Mr.Reed
Hi,
i am interested in using the (OnBarcode - Birt Plugin ) (with Birt 2.6.1).
Using the plugin in Birt RCP works fine, but when i generate a report via the web application, the Barcode is not there. I copied the one jar in the plugins-dir of the report engine, which is used my the web application, but that doesn't seem to have an effect.
Has anyone experience with that?
Thanks in advance...

Are you using the web viewer or just the engines? Where do you place the plugin when using the RCP designer? In the plugins folder?
Mr.Reed
Hi Michael,<br />
<br />
i am just using the report engines in the web application. <br />
For as the rcp designer: The plugin is placed into <path-to-rcp-designer>/plugins (or eclipse/plugins for the all-in-one solution) (<strong class='bbc'><a class='bbc_url' href='
http://www.onbarcode.com/tutorial/java-barcode-eclipse-birt.html#install'>as
described in the onboard-tutorial</a></strong>), so yes, the plugins folder. When previewing the report in the rcp designer, it works fine, but not when generating the report via the web application. <br />
