Parameters in URL
ajunuthula
Hi,
I have the code as below:
<head>
<script language="javascript">
function load(){
var y=2005;
window.location = "
http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/frameset?__report=publications1.rptdesign&From(year)=y"
;
}
</script>
<INPUT TYPE="BUTTON" VALUE="Load" ONCLICK="load()">
The URL works when From(year)=2005 but does not work with the variable as From(year)=y.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you.

Try:
window.location = "
http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/frameset?__report=publications1.rptdesign&From(year)="
; + y

What if I need to assign two parameters in the URL
var from = 2005;
var to = 2007;
window.location = "
http://wisdom.rockefeller.edu:8080/birt/frameset?__report=publications1.rptdesign&From(year)="+from&To(year)=+to
How should the syntax be?
Thank you.
