OD/DD in TS Cluster

Hi all,

has someone experience with OpenDeploy/DataDeploy running in a Teamsite Cluster environment? Client has a windows based system with TS 5.5.2 and OpenDeploy 5.6 and DataDeploy 5.6. Cluster is a Microsoft Cluster Service on Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3. System is used for failover. We're planning a od-dd-sync into a Verity database and I was wondering if there are any concerns regarding failover of running deployments etc.

Any ideas are highly appreciated

The standard Teamsite cluster is configured as 2 nodes with teamsite, templating, OD/DD, etc installed an configured on each node. the shared drive or backing store is on a networked /shared drive, usually mirrored for redundancy.

DD is not dependent upon clustering, since it duplicated on each node configured. However Verity is not a supported DD database so you would need to see the DD release notes for supported DB for DD.
