It looks like that is BIRT 2.5.1, so you should be able to use page variables to capture the count that you keep in the onCreate script of the row and display it in your masterpage using the variables auto-text. To count the value yourself, you'd need to create a variable in your initialize method of your report, increment it in the onCreate for the row, and reset it in the endOfPage event. This is also where you'd assign the count to the page variable. Let me know if you have questions.

<br />
No. of Item : <strong class='bbc'>2</strong>| Total Weight : <strong class='bbc'>9</strong><br />
Page 1 of 2 <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Items | Weight<br />
<br />
C | 8 <br />
<br />
No. of Item : <strong class='bbc'>1</strong>| Total Weight : <strong class='bbc'>8</strong><br />
Grand |<br />
Total Item : <strong class='bbc'></strong>3| Grand Total Weight : <strong class='bbc'>17</strong><br />
Page 2 of 2 <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

Hi William,<br />
<br />
One thing i did not realize, when i put decimal value then it does not calculate as it is.<br />
<br />
example<br />
2 + 5 = 7 which is correct<br />
but if<br />
2.5 + 5.9 = 7.4 which not...<br />
<br />
Whats wrong with the script?<br />
Thanks<br />

Hi William,<br />
<br />
<br />
Additionally .....<br />
One thing i did not realize, when i put decimal value then it does not calculate as it is.<br />
<br />
example<br />
2 + 5 = 7 which is correct<br />
but if<br />
2.5 + 5.9 = 7.9 which not...seems like getting the last decimal value 5.9 which .9, so the equals is 7.9<br />
<br />
Whats wrong with the script?<br />
Thanks<br />

You need to change the parseInt, to parseFloat, on the weight portion of the script, if you're using float values.
