Hi

Im trying to create a report with security support.
Im seeking solution for control access to data.
For this task is offered ACL ( for example spring security)
Is possible using any existing solution for this task: "a user can see only certain data"

Hi Dakmen,
If you are using Eclipse BIRT, you could use scripting to get the user information from the session and then use it to filter the data set dynamically.
Actuate BIRT lets you define ACL in BIRT Designer Professional to restrict report data to users/roles. The feature is called Page Level Security and is described in the following wiki article:

Is possible using BIRT Designer Professional and this feature ACL Security without Actuate iServer? Only with community version ?

At this time ACL defined in BRD Pro will only work with iServer.
