Session Concpet to Birt reports

HI, 
 
I am using MyEclipse IDe 7.5 to generate the Birt reports. I am successful in creating a report web project and add the reports to that and able to run that as a web application. After that i have integrated this web application into another application by calling in this way.

Everything is working fine, am able to run the reports. Here i am facing two problems. 
1) My report parameters are seen as part of URL. How can i avoid not to display? 
2) Can we implement session concept here.

You'll probably have to encrypt the parameter values. They'll still be in the URL, but they won't be as obvious. Or, you could possibly call the reports using java and the API's instead and design your reports to pass the values you want hidden as properties of the BIRT context.

for those thoughts. is there any guide on how to encrypt the report parameters using Birt? any URl for building the report using Java.

You'd either have to come up with your own simple encryption to do external to BIRT before you pass it through the URL or find a standard encryption function somewhere on the web, then inside BIRT, you'd decrypt the value in your beforeOpen script of your dataSet to pass through your query.

There are more security features available with the Actuate BIRT product line if interested in going that route. You can see the Actuate products on the .com side under "products".
