Opendeploy schedule question
System
Can we setup a opendeploy job so that our producers can only deploy at certain period of time? For example, we have a workflow that we only want people to be able to deploy to production server from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday. They can deploy as many time as they want during this period of time.
Thanks
Jason

OpenDeploy does not have a concept of valid windows of time for deployments. You would probably have to enforce that via your workflow.

If you want to control the deployment within the workflow, just have a timeout task after the submit task and before the deployment task. Have an external task before the timeout task that sets the timeout on the timeout task to timeout until 10:00am on the next saturday.
Or if you don't want to keep all those workflows around and want to control it outside of workflow. Remove the deployment task from the workflow. Then either do a directory comparison or TeamSite comparison deployment on Saturday at 10:00 am. Or you could add an external task that runs before the workflow ends that stores all of the files for that workflow either in a file or db or wherever you want and then have a script that runs every saturday at 10:00 am that checks that file/db/whatever and deploys all the files in it.
