Hi,
I have BIRT 2.6.1 deployed on apache tomcat 6.0.18 server.
I need to access rptdesign using two different URLs
http://localhost:8080/run?__report=myReport.rptdesign
and
http://localhost:8080/documents/run?__report=myReport.rptdesign
Is it possible to achieve this?
I am trying with servlet mapping:
<servlet>
<servlet-name>ViewerServlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.eclipse.birt.report.servlet.ViewerServlet</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>ViewerServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/run</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>ViewerServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/documents/run</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
<!-- Define BIRT viewer configuration file -->
<context-param>
<param-name>BIRT_VIEWER_CONFIG_FILE</param-name>
<param-value>WEB-INF/viewer.properties</param-value>
</context-param>
<context-param>
<param-name>BIRT_RESOURCE_PATH</param-name>
<param-value>report</param-value>
</context-param>
When I access rpt design using the second URL, i.e.,
http://localhost:8080/documents/run?__report=myReport.rptdesign, it shows no report and no errors. I checked report engine log but there are no errors logged there also.
Can anyone please let me know if this scenario is possible? If it is possible what am I missing here in configuration.
TIA,
