from .rox or .dox to .rptdesign

Hi

I am upgrading from Maximo 6 to Maximo 7 and have some developed reports that run on Actuate
they are all .rox and .dox and we will run BIRT after the upgrade
is there any way to conver this rebort to .rptdesign

To my knowledge, there is no magic conversion program out there to convert any other report file to a BIRT report design. I could be wrong on this. Someone out there may have created something, but I have not seen it as of yet. If you have any questions while transitioning to BIRT from other designs, you're in the right place, though. If you don't find the answer to what you're looking for in a quick search of the devShare and forums, post a question in the forums and hopefully someone will have an answer to your question to you quickly

We have a simple converter that does this with the ROX file, but there are a lot of caveats, especially with Maximo reports. If you don't mind, can you contact me directly at johnw@innoventsolutions.com? I'd like to talk to you about this, and get an idea if our converter would work for the reports that have.
