problem with dynamic master page

Hello all

Having problems with master page.

I have 3 different master pages - for the first page, for the last one, and between them.
It does work by setting the page break master page propery, BUT:
All I have in report is one big table with data (big enough for several pages), so I cant set master pages for different elements.
The best is if I could change them by page numbers.

Any ideas?

or maybe it is possible to make one master page with 3 blocks, whose visibility will be dynamically changed? As i understood, master page is rendered once, so not quite a variant.

You might be able to create the 3 blocks and set their "display" property in their onRender script to display in the correct page. The other way would be to split your one table into 3 and give them each their own masterpage and use filters to get the correct data to show in each table to make it appear as if there is only one table.

I have the same problem. Splitting the table into 3, does not work too well for me, as I do not know what content is in the result and therefore how high each row is. That means that I do not know how many rows will fit on the first page, sometimes there are 5 at other times there are 30. Does anybody have ideas for a filter that can solve this problem?

How i solved it for now is by making one master page (the middle one), set property "dont show header on first page", and manually added grids (header and footer) before and after table. 
But it doesnt look very nice and i need to apply this to all reports (using rptlibrary). Would be much nicer and cleaner if i had to just add master page.

That didnt work in master page. Tried with "pageNumber" variable (both, strait number value comparing, and using .toString) - always first one was shown. 
Also tried adding manual variable, which increaced by one "onPageStart", also no luck.

What is the page break interval you have set on your table in your design? If 0, there is a bug in 2.6.1 where the end of page events don't get called on natural page breaks. This is fixed in 2.6.2.
