LaunchPad:Missing Permission problem

Solaris 5.8
TS 5.5.2

Giving following error while opening (view/edit) any file (not DCR).
LaunchPad does not have all the permissions it needs:
Cannot read user information on the local machine. LaunchPad cannot operate.java.security.accessControlException - access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission * read,write)

was working fine till I reinstalled SP3 for TeamSite & Templating.

Any one got this error before on solaris machine with netscape 4.76

Sounds like maybe your browser is rejecting the signed applet
for some reason (treating it as unsigned.)

You might need to dig around the security settings in the
browser a bit. Sorry I can't be more specific...

i figured out the same . & cross checked with the browser (netscape) settings .. seems evry possible things r marked properly...

anything specific?

You probably want to open a support case for this one. I checked around and no one is familiar with this problem.

Sorry for replying so late.. was able to resolve the error.. problem with netscapoe permission settings.
