round() function

Hi,

My name is Sunil. We are working on the BIRT reports. We are trying to round a real number so that it should have only one decimal point after rounding happens. If we use BirtMath.roundUp(realNumber, 1), It is giving one decimal point and it is fine. But, If the real number doesn't have any decimal point(i.e., an integer like 100), it is not putting 0 as the decimal point.

As per our requirement,

If the value is 100.242424, then the result should be 100.2
If the value is 100, then the result should be 100.0

Can anyone please suggest a solution for this....?

Hi Sunil,

Rounding and formatting are not the same thing.
Go to properties -> format number to define the formatting of your item.
