Displaying the values of the particular dataset colum row wise

Hi Team,

This forum is really helpful for me and other starters.

This time i come up with a new query , probably simple.

I have a dataset column like below

NAME
A
B
B
C

How can i display the values as below without appending it.Each vale should be displayed in each cell of the report.

NAME
A B C D

Please advice me on this

If you put this column into a list and select the data element and change the "display" to "inline", they'll display horizontally.

Can u pls tell me specifically where can i change the 'Display' to 'inline'.
Where is that option to change.

And also tell me if we make the vales to diplay inline, can the spaces between the values be even and regular.

Hi williams,

I got it and tried out.
I is displaying vertically.
But it displays as if it has been appended.

There is no proper spaces between the values inline.

CAn u tell me if they can be displayed with the spaces between .
It has to look like with even spaces between each values as like it displays in each cell.

A crosstab might be able to get you what you're wanting.

Another way, if you can dispaly, say, 6 across and then have to go to the next row would be to place a 1 row 6 column grid in your design. Then add identical tables to each grid to display your one column. Then, use filters to cause it to not show duplicate values.
