Dynamic Image with XML-Datasource

Hello.

Is it possible to use a "dynamic image" with a XML-Datasource?
The XML-Datasource/File contains a element with BASE64 encoded image.
The BASE64 string (image) is tested and valid.

Result: No error but the image is not shown.
