Setting enable.area.alt default value

To enable chart interactivity (ex. enabling the display of datapoint values on MouseOver), this field needs to be set to TRUE<br />

Every time I create a new chart, I have to go to the Custom Properties section (under Chart Area) and change it from 'false' to 'true'. I've looked through the Preferences options to set it to true by default, but wasn't able to find anything there.<br />

Is there a way to set this field's default value?<br />
