Problem while login with IE

I am trying a report in BIRT. If I try to login using IE browser, it does not successfully login and does not display the report page. But when same program is tried using Google Chrome it works without any issue.
Is there any limitation of BIRT while using with IE browser OR is there any additional setting which is required for IE?

Are you using Open Source BIRT? The open source viewer does not have a login.
