Adding Rows to Table of Contents
kpelzer29
I know you can create a table of contents based on the grouping in a table, but is there a way to adds rows to the table of contents? For example, I have multiple tables in one report and in each group there are values "A, B, C". If I create the table of contents using the groups and customizing what is displayed in the table of contents, the table of contents would display as:
A - Table 1
B - Table 1
C - Table 1
A - Table 2
B - Table 2
C - Table 2
Is it possible to create a parent section for Table 1 and another for Table 2 that the user could expand to display the A, B, and C (to look similiar to the list below)?:
+Table 1
- A
- B
- C
+Table 2
- A
- B
- C
Thank you!

Hi,
With the help of some string functions you could create two columns in your dataset (one containing "+ Table 1", the other containing "- A" and so on) and create two groups: one on each of both columns. The table of contents will be generated using the values in these groups.
