birt viewer doing wrong post?

Hello all.

Currenly habe BIRT wokring as a standalone application and is being used as a web service.

All needed requests are being made using post, where i give needed parameters and data sets and it returns needed report.

But now i needed to open report viewer (format-html) in birt itself. As i cant send post with redirect, i made two requests - first is post, where i just send data, which is being saved by birt, second is get with key to those parameters. So basicly i now have a get request, that is being forwarded to report viewer that renders it.
The problem, that came with this is that viewer now posts renderer requests to my servlet, although it should be posting to /frameset (correct me if im wrong). I couldnt find the reason why is it coming back to my servlet.

Would be greatful for any help.

I am not exactly sure how you have this configured, but as another option have you looked at using the BIRT tag libraries?

tag libraries are not an option in this case.

birt is running as a single standalone application.
in most cases it works like this: there is a servlet, that receives as post request all needed data - format, design file, possible data sets for reports. this servlet then forwards to birt and returnes result report in response.

i this case, however, i have to open birt viewer in this application, as a popup for example.
to do this i first send only data and store it. then i make get request with key to this data, expecting that afterwards i can make it work as usual. but it gives this weird (for me) beaviour.

solved this for now by making a little hack to create second request as post.
