how can i make report to update data in database ???

i have a problem that i have calculated column so for each row different value, so how can i update in database with this condition ????

Hi shrif,
Reports are not meant to change databases, but with a little bit of scripting and a servlet(or other webservice) you can write back to the database. Here is a sample:

but what i mean is how to make a hyperlink in the end of the report and when clicking it update in database for all records in the report for each row with different values

i make a report make this function but with hyperlink for each row show the attachement file

Hi Shrif,
The article shows one way to do write back to the database through a simple example. If you like you can extend it so that the "code" stores the row number and column number of the modified values in addition to the new values. All of this could then be passed to the servlet to update the database after paring the values out.

my problem is i have two columns itemnum(unique),binnum

i want to update in database the binnum for each itemnum (for loop on the itemnum and take the binnum value to update it in the database)
