How to run a daily birt report automaticly, instead on manual

Have a daily BIRT report that I currently run myself. Need to find out how to automate this report. Simple report from Birt , translate to an xls format.

You could easily make standalone birt program and call it on a schedule.

Cronjob or what ever scheduling program would do the job, you can even make your own scheduler that executes the report program as desired.
