data set binding on runtime

Hi,
I wants to bind the dataset dynamically on chart. is any way to acheive this?
ex: if(param==1){
dataset1
}
else {
dataset2
}
like this.

Well dynamacly setting a data set is quite hard. Its better to just make the charts and set there visabilety dynamcly. If you dont use a data set it (and its not visible) it will not be executed.

I used the following script on report beforefactory event. and created the report parameter dynamic.
mylist=reportContext.getReportRunnable().designHandle.getDesignHandle().findElement( "chart1");
if(params["balance"].value == "NUM" ){
mylist.setProperty( "dataSet", "M_SHARE_NUM1" );
}else if(params["balance"].value == "PER" ) {
mylist.setProperty( "dataSet", "M_SHARE_NUM4" );
}else if(params["balance"].value == "BAL" ) {
mylist.setProperty( "dataSet", "M_SHARE_NUM5" );
}
but the parameter balance is not realising the dynamic parameter. what could be a reason?
