Page break 'Inside:' Auto/Void << Group Details << Table
Kenichi
Dear Experts
I would like know the usage of Page Break, "Inside" at Group Detail Edit Menu. I can see two choices, 'Auto' or 'Void' from this option, but what are these do? Could anyone explain me how it is useful, when it likely be used, and some example of usage.
I am using 2.6 ver. I also use Actuate Birt Professional 11.0.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Ken

This option would be used if you wanted to avoid page breaks within your group. Theoretically, if you select to "avoid" page breaks within a group, you should expect the group to have a page break before it if it will not fit entirely on the remaining space left in the current page. To avoid a page break within the group, it would page break before. Keep in mind, this is if the group will fit on one page. If it's going to go to a second page anyways, you would not expect any change. Hopefully this makes sense. Let me know.
