Header column break Problem

Hi All,

Please help me to control page breaking so headings don't print at botom of page and then data on next page. If not enough room for data at bottom then no headings should print.

Please help me to solve this issue.

Currently i am working in BIRT ver 3.2.17...

Unfortunately, the Avoid page break option wasn't in that version, I don't think. That would solve your issue. If your rows are of fixed height, you could easily keep a page row count of your own and if you were at the bottom of the page and were ending a group (you'd add an aggregation to the group to tell you the rows in the group), then you'd manually force a page break in script. This would essentially do the same as the avoid setting.

Take a look at this report. It shows how you can manipulate the pagebreak yourself. This solution may not work for you though because it seems that be pageBreakBefore on the group header that should trigger is not being triggered. Upgrading may be the best option if you can do it.
