Reports Not working while upgrading from Birt 2.6.1. to Birt 3.7

Hello everyone,
I am trying to upgrade from Birt 2.6.1 version to the latest version of BIRT 3.7 and having issues while deploying with JBOSS. For some reason, my reports are not getting displayed in the server. I just see the blank page when I try to run my reports. Please see the screenshot attached

This are the steps I did to deploy the runtime -
1. Downloaded the BIRT Runtime 3.7
2. Remove org.apache.xerces from the birt.war\WEB-INF\lib folder.
3. Extracted the birt.war in the deploy folder at this location - jboss-version\server\default\deploy directory.
4. Start JBOSS Server.

Just FYI - The reports works fine in BIRT 3.7 report designer.

I am not sure what else needs to be done in this new version of BIRT other than the steps I mentioned. Does anyone have seen this problem?
I would really appreciate if anyone can help.

Can you set the log level and location in the web.xml and see if anything is getting logged?

I did set the log level to FINER. Attached is the log file

I did not see any issues in the log. I will try JBOSS 4.2.3 in the morning.

I just deployed it to JBOSS Tomcat 4.2.3 and it worked for me. How many jars do you have the in the Webviewer/Web-inf/lib directory?

Thanks for looking into it. I actually figured out the issue, its because of the library conflict with a different piece of software deployed on the same server. Nothing from the logs indicates this, but I verified when the other software is removed, all the reports load & BIRT functions properly.

In Jboss logs I get this error when i try to load any report-

BIRT stopped working properly for us when we upgraded a piece of software running on the same JBoss instance. There seems to be a conflict with the UserDataHandler class as indicated by the stack trace I posted above.

The other deployed software contains jaxen-1.1.1.jar and xmlbeans-2.3.0.jar which both contain the offending class - UserDataHandler - which is 419 bytes.

JBoss itself also has jaxen.jar which contains UserDataHandler - which is 419 bytes.

The older version of BIRT (2.6.1) contained a jar that contained UserDataHandler as well - javax.xml_1.3.4.v201005080400.jar - the version in this jar was only 375 bytes. This is why we tried the upgrade to BIRT version 3.7 since it didn't contain this class and thought it wouldn't suffer from the same conflict. The only class that refers to UserDataHandler in BIRT 3.7 is js.jar. Unfortunately, BIRT 3.7 seems to conflict as did version 2.6.1.

Thanks.
