Are you using SQL or another dataSet type? If using SQL, you'd put ? markers in your SQL query in your where statement where you want to insert a dynamic value. Then, in the parameters section of the dataSet editor, you'd link this to a report parameter you've already created or use the parameter builder to do so from here. If not using SQL, you'd simply add a filter to your dataSet based on the report parameter value. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions!

we are using csv files as datasource and there is no concept of query here so how can we set dynamic parameters in such case. Please help.

You create a dataSet from your csv file, create a report parameter using this dataSet and make it dynamic, and then you can use the selected value from this parameter to make a filter on your table in your design. If you have multiple elements in your design that you want filtered, you can create a second dataSet that brings in the fields that will be used in your parameters, create your parameters from this new dataSet and actually filter your dataSet that you use to your tables.
